Lesson 2.5 of the Free Claude Cowork Course · 30 minutes
Overview
Everything converges here. The capstone is one complete build, end to end: pick a real recurring task from your team’s week, and ship it as a full workflow — briefed against your team context folder, packaged as a skill, documented in the library, and actually run against real (or realistic) inputs. You leave the course with something your team can use Monday morning, not a certificate.
What You’ll Do
- Choose a genuine recurring team task using the selection criteria from the lesson
- Build the complete workflow: context, skill, documentation, first successful run
- Pressure-test it and write the one-paragraph handoff note for your team
The Lesson
Say “start lesson 2.5”. First, selection: the lesson’s criteria favor tasks that are frequent, template-driven, and low-stakes-if-imperfect — the same scoring logic from our team rollout guide. Then the build, with Cowork checking your work at each stage: is the context sufficient? does the skill’s brief follow the outcome-inputs-format pattern? does the documentation pass the colleague test from 2.4? Finally the run — real inputs if you have them, the provided realistic set if you don’t — and a short pressure test with slightly wrong inputs, because real Mondays are never clean.
The last artifact is a handoff note: three sentences telling your team what exists, how to run it, and who owns it. Send it, and the course has left the classroom.
Try It Now
Ship it. Run your workflow on the next real occurrence of the task, and note what you’d refine. If you want your whole team building at this level together — with rollout support and measured results — that’s exactly what our live team training does in a day.
